SENIOR EQUINE GROOM PATHWAYS
Senior Equine groom Apprenticeship standard is suitable for grooms, assistant yard managers aiming to become instructors/ coaches, yard managers, stud managers or specialist grooms.
Delivery
The Apprenticeship programme is delivered in the workplace and supplemented with training in an approved centre.

Apprenticeships are for those over 16 years-old and not in full-time education. You may be just leaving school, seeking to start a new career, moving into a new role with your existing employer, or it may be that you already have a job you enjoy but have no recognised qualifications.
Competition for positions with employers can be fierce so you will need to show respect, commitment and be aware of your responsibilities to yourself and your employer. You will need to be happy working individually and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and willingness to work hard.
