Equestrian Training switched to online learning and remote working in March 2020 to keep all staff and learners safe during the Coronavirus outbreak. We regularly review how we deliver our training to ensure we comply with the latest Government and Public Health England’s (PHE) guidelines.

  • We offer remote support through a range of mediums, including Dropbox, Moodle, Email, Facetime, Skype, Microsoft Teams and telephone.

  • Training Advisors support and monitor learners and non-teaching staff will continue their roles using remote access to all key services.

  • Where a visit needs to take place face to face and/or learners are now back in the workplace following a period of Furlough then:

    • All employers have completed a Covid Checklist to ensure all additional risk assessments have been carried out by the employer

    • Should there be anyone on any employer sites that has symptoms of Covid-19 or is self-isolating, any exposure will be reported using NHS Track and Trace

    • Where possible all visits will take place outside

    • If visits cannot take place outside then any indoor area will be ventilated and social distancing measures will be maintained at all times

    • Handwashing facilities will be confirmed as present on-site and hands washed upon arrival and at regular intervals throughout the visit, including immediately prior to leaving

    • The planned visit will ensure that contact will be minimised to just the learner and employer only.
